My name is Jennifer, and I am a well-seasoned woman who loves to play video games since the days of Atari 1800. I grew up in a very violent household where being female was not a good. I was told that a woman had one talent and it was not in science as I loved. Later in life, I came back fully to science becoming an teacher. I taught Science and Social Studies for 18 years and reminded all young women in my classroom the only difference between men to women was physical.

I want a place where young men and women from ages 7 to 20 can come and deal with the major issue I feel is hurting our offspring: Trauma, that we do not see in their lives. Did you know that trauma delivered when we are young and not dealt with properly can lead to medical and physical problems with the body later in life? Trauma also plays a massive role on whether or not a child gets decent grades that led to other issues in life.

When I was young and dealing with an abusive parent, I was fortunate I was able to have the perfect counselor: A horse.

I want a place for kids to come, learn not only how to ride, but to care for an animal. It gives children a foundation in which to grow. I see a massive need for children in this age group to gain assistance with their feelings, but also knowledge they can use later in life.

I am sure you did not know coming to my website that you would have a hard-luck story to read about, but it is actually a story of triumph over tragedy. We (children of abuse) are resilient, but we need help. I want to offer that help. Using my background as a victim turned advocate, and an educator--I want to give another young woman like me a chance at the life whatever is upstairs whats that girl to have. Who are any of us other than helpers to our next generation?
